[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11월 8일까지 양주시는 우리나라의 전통 절기주 만들기 교육 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

수강대상은 절기주에 관심이 있고 작년과 올해 진행한 전통주 교육에 참여하지 않은 양주시민이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 총 20명을 선착순 모집한다고 했다.

교육은 오는 12일부터 12월 6일까지 총 8회차 과정이고, 실습에 필요한 재료비는 1만원 자부담으로 대면 교육 시 재료를 배부할 예정이며, 교육과정은 발효의 원리, 밑술법과 덧술법, 세시풍속과 문화에 대해 학습하고 가을과 겨울에 마시는 절기주인 연엽주, 연시주, 국화주, 납주, 팥동동주, 이명주를 직접 빚어볼 수 있는 실습교육으로 구성됐다고 전했다.

수강을 희망하는 시민은 양주시농업기술센터 누리집 공지사항에서 교육 신청서를 내려받아 이메일로 접수하면 되고, 기타 자세한 내용은 양주시 농업기술센터 누리집, 카카오톡 ‘양주농업’ 공식채널에서 확인할 수 있다고 했다.

양주시 농업기술센터 관계자는 “우리나라 1년 열두달 계절의 변화에 따른 명절과 세시 풍속이 형성된 만큼 계절에 따라 빚는 절기주를 통해 우리 전통 문화를 느껴볼 수 있는 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
