[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 8일 포천시는 코나아이(주)와 병역의무 이행 격려를 위한 입영지원금 지급 관련 업무협약식을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 

협약식에는 박윤국 포천시장을 비롯해 코나아이 변동훈 부사장, 포천시의회 의장직무대리 송상국 부의장 등 16명이 참석했고, 포천시 입영지원금은 현역병이나 사회복무요원으로 입영하는 시민에게 입영지원금을 지급하는 사업으로 1인당 10만원을 포천사랑상품권카드로 지급한다고 전했다.

변동훈 부사장은 “병역의무 이행 격려를 위한 입영지원금이 원활하게 지급될 수 있도록 포천시와 힘을 모아 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다. 

박윤국 포천시장은 “입영지원금으로 어려운 시기에 나라를 위해 희생하는 청년들에게 조금이나마 큰 힘이 되길 바란다.”라며 “포천시는 병역의무 이행과 청년이 행복하고 활력이 넘치는 사회 분위기 조성에 앞장서겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
