[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 2일 양주시 시장 이성호는 사회적 재정지원 참여기관으로 선정된 관내 사회적기업 10개소에 대한 지원 약정을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 
 
이번 약정을 체결한 예비사회적기업은 주식회사 감성숲, ㈜식판천사, 리얼네이쳐팜 주식회사, 주식회사 카페그립지 등이며 인증사회적기업은 주식회사 담심포, 사회적협동조합 지심, 크린필터 주식회사, 에이블투어 주식회사, ㈜한국교육공예저작권협회, 주식회사 위드플러스 등이 라고 했다.

이들 기업은 ‘2021년 (예비)사회적기업 재정지원사업’ 공모에 선정된 곳으로 ‘일자리창출사업’과 ‘사업개발비 지원사업’ 등 2개 부문으로 진행했으며 사업내용의 우수성, 지속성, 고용창출 가능성, 사회적 가치 지표 등 객관적으로 계량화 할 수 있는 기준에 따라 평가, 선정됐다고 전했다.

일자리창출 지원사업에 선정된 기업에는 총 16명의 최저임금 수준의 인건비와 사업주 부담 사회보험료 일부를, 사업개발비 지원사업에 선정된 기업은 총 1억 4천여만원을 지원받게 되며 양주시는 이번 재정지원을 통해 코로나19에 따른 사회적기업의 경영악화를 해소하고 취약계층 고용창출에 기여할 것으로 전망하고 있다고 했다.

이성호 양주시장은 “코로나19로 모두가 힘든 상황 속에서도 사회적가치의 실현을 위해 노력하는 기업에 감사하며 선정된 사회적기업이 지역경제의 버팀목으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”며 “기업 하기 좋은 도시, 지역사회와 함께하는 기업환경 조성을 위해 더욱 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
