[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 15일부터 양주시는 한국전력공사와 함께 에너지 합리적 사용을 촉진하고 친환경 아파트를 조성하기 위해 공동주택 에너지효율 향상 사업을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

공동주택 에너지효율 향상 사업은 공동주택 승강기에 회생제동장치 설치비를 최대 100만원을 지원, 공동주택 공동 관리비 절감과 온실가스 감축을 위해 추진하는 사업이라고 했다.

회생제동장치는 승강기가 승·하강 할 때 모터에서 발생하는 저품질의 전기를 사용가능한 전기에너지로 변환해주는 장치로 전력사용량의 약 20%를 절감해 승강기 1대당 월 3만원의 절감효과를 가져온다고 했다.

양주시는 한국전력공사와 각각 50% 보조금을 지급해 관내 6층 이상의 공동주택에 승강기 60대를 지원할 예정으로 작년보다 20대를 추가 지원한다고 전했다.

선정은 준공연수, 층수, 회생제동장치 설치 용량 등 심사기준에 따라 서류 심사 후 지방보조금 심의위원회의 심의를 거쳐 6월 중 대상 공동주택을 확정해 개별통보할 예정이라고 했다.

사업을 희망하는 공동주택은 한국전력공사 경기북부본부직할, 동두천지사로 방문 또는 우편으로 접수하면 되고, 기타 자세한 사항은 양주시청 홈페이지나 환경관리과 미세먼지대응팀으로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 전했다.
