[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 7일부터 오는 18일까지 원주시 평생교육원 학습관은 평생학습동아리 19개 팀을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

평생교육원 학습관에 등록된 동아리로서 성인 7~10명 이상이 정기적으로 모여 공통된 주제로 학습활동을 하는 동아리면 신청할 수 있다고 했다. 

단, 청소년 및 생활체육 분야 동아리는 제외하며, 학습관에 등록하지 않은 동아리는 신청과 동시에 등록할 수 있다고 전했다.

또한, 코로나19 감염병 및 그 밖의 중대한 사항으로 인해 대면 활동의 진행이 어려울 경우를 대비해 대면과 비대면 활동 모두 가능한 동아리를 우선 모집한다고 했다.

평생학습동아리로 선정되면 심화학습에 필요한 강사비를 지원받을 수 있으며, 자세한 사항은 평생교육원 학습관 홈페이지 공지 사항을 확인하거나 평생교육팀에 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

홍창희 관장은 “평생학습의 꽃인 평생학습동아리 지원사업을 통해 신규 학습동아리를 발굴하고 시민들이 원하는 시간과 장소에서 학습할 수 있는 학습자 중심의 동아리 활동이 활성화되길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
