[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 13일 동두천 예술인들을 한 자리에서 만날 수 있는 ‘제16회 동두천 종합예술제’가 동두천 시민회관 공연장에서 펼쳐졌다고 밝혔다.

동두천 종합예술제는 동두천예총 산하 8개 협회 ‘국악, 음악, 문인, 연예인, 미술, 연극, 사진작가, 영화인’가 한 해 동안 심혈을 기울인 창작활동 공연 및 전시 등 예술 활동을 보여주는 종합예술 행사로, 이날 국악협회의 신명나는 국악 한마당을 시작으로 막을 올렸으며, 문인협회의 시낭송과 연예예술인협회와 음악협회의 다채로운 공연이 이어졌다고 했다.

지역 예술인들의 공연에 이어 3인조 걸그룹 ‘앵두걸스’와 미스트롯2 출신 가수 ‘윤태화’가 축하공연을 선보여 행사장에 열기를 더했다고 전했다. 

이날 행사에는 최용덕 동두천시장도 참석해 인사말을 통해 “코로나19로 지치고 우울했던 시간을 이번 종합예술제와 함께 즐기고 힐링할 수 있는 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
