[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 8월 19일 양주시희망장학재단은 비콤시스템(주)에서 지역인재육성을 위해 써달라며 장학금 200만원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

비콤시스템(주)은 상하수도 시설 통합관리 자동운전 제어장치인 계측제어시스템 구축 전문기업으로 지역사회 발전을 위해 꾸준한 사회공헌활동을 이어오고 있다고 했다.

이날 전달식에는 임충빈 이사장을 비롯해 신제원·심범수 대표, 양주시 관계 공무원 등이 참석했고, 기탁된 장학금은 성적이 우수하거나 가정형편이 어려운 지역 내 학생들을 위해 쓰일 예정이라고 했다.

이날 장학금을 전달한 심범수 대표는 “양주의 미래를 이끌어 나갈 인재 육성을 위해 장학금을 기탁하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 꾸준히 지역현안에 관심을 가지고 기부활동에 동참할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

임충빈 이사장은 “나라 안팎으로 경제가 어려운 시기에 이렇게 인연을 맺게돼 진심으로 감사하다”며 “관내 학생들이 시대에 걸맞은 훌륭한 인재로 자라날 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
