[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 8월 6일 오후 7시 양주시는 꿈나무도서관 소리방에서 유명 웹툰작가로 활동 중인 박태준 작가와 함께 ‘진로 토크콘서트’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 토크콘서트는 급속도로 성장하고 있는 웹툰시장에 진입하려는 웹툰 꿈나무 청소년과 시민들에게 현직 작가의 노하우 전수를 통한 전문적인 진로 탐색의 기회를 제공하고자 마련했다고 전했다.

박태준 작가는 ‘웹툰작가의 삶과 도전정신’이라는 주제로 웹툰 작가 등단 방법을 비롯한 인기 콘텐츠를 만드는 스토리 창작의 비결, 웹툰 산업에 대한 전망 등을 강연할 예정이라고 했다.

지난 2014년 네이버 웹툰에서 ‘외모지상주의’로 데뷔한 웹툰작가 박태준은 ‘한남동 케이하우스’, ‘인생존망’, ‘싸움독학’ 등 다수의 웹툰을 동시 연재하며 인기 작가 대열에 오르는 등 독자들로부터 많은 사랑을 받고 있다고 했다.

강연은 코로나19 사회적 거리두기 4단계 시행에 따라 현장 참여자 없이 실시간 온라인 생중계로만 진행될 예정이며, 온라인 관람을 희망하는 시민은 별도 참여 신청 없이 8월 6일 양주시 도서관 공식 유튜브 채널에 접속하면 된다고 했다. 

양주시 도서관 관계자는 “이번 강연을 통해 웹툰 작가를 꿈꾸는 청소년들이 웹툰 관련 궁금한 이야기와 진로 고민을 나누는 유익한 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다,
