[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 추모공원의 부족한 주차시설 확충과 봉안시설 건립을 위한 부지확보를 통해 군민에게 편리하고 품격있는 장사행정 서비스를 제공하고자 1년여 간 군 관리계획변경 실시설계 용역을 추진한다고 19일 밝혔다.

지난 2019년 말 조성된 가평추모공원은 2천517기를 안치할 수 있는 자연장지(잔디장) 6천521㎡와 1천512기가 들어가는 봉안시설(봉안담) 600㎡ 등 총 1만6천181㎡에 4천029기를 안치할 수 있다. 

이에 군 관리계획(공동묘지 등) 변경(결정) 및 실시설계, 주차장 실시설계 및 봉안당 건축기획 등의 용역이 내년 7월까지 진행되고 이후 연말까지 토지보상 및 주차장 조성사업이 추진될 예정이다.

추모공원 확충면적은 총 1만2천801㎡이며, 주차장이 3천255㎡, 봉안시설 등 부지가 9천546㎡로 변경되면 이용에 한층 더 편리성과 선진 장사문화를 선도할 것으로 기대된다.

가평추모공원은 봉안담 및 자연장지를 비롯해 관리사무소, 산골시설, 추모벽, 주차장 등을 갖추고 있다.

사용자격은 군에 6개월 이상 주민등록을 둔 사망자 및 주민의 연고자(부모, 배우자 및 직계자녀), 군에 출생등록을 하고 1년이상 거주한 자, 부부 중의 1명이 가평군의 공설장사시설에 이미 안치되어 있는 경우의 관외 거주 배우자, 군에 소재한 분묘를 개장한 유골 등이 대상이다.

이용료는 봉안담의 경우 개인담은 50만원, 부부담은 75만원이며, 잔디장  개인장은 35만원, 부부장은 52만5000원이고, 사용료와 관리비 포함이다.
