[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] (재)태백시민향토장학회는 2022년 장학생을 선발한다고 밝혔다.

선발대상은 대학생으로 공고일(1월 17일) 기준 태백시에 2년 이상 주소를 두고 있는 자 또는 시민의 자녀이며, 선발예정 인원은 신입생 350명, 재학생 135명이라고 했다.

신입생은 성적, 소득에 상관없이 생활장학금(생활비) 1백만원을, 재학생에게는 학기당 1백만원의 향토장학금(등록금) 또는 생활장학금을 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

대상자는 태백시청 홈페이지(시정소식>공지사항)를 통해 ‘장학생지원서’를 내려받아 작성 후 (재)태백시민향토장학회 사무국(태백시청 별관3층 평생교육과)으로 제출하면 된다고 전했다. 

신청기간은 내달 2월 7일부터 28일까지이며, 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 되도록 우편 접수를 권장하고, 기타 자세한 사항은 (재)태백시민향토장학회 사무국으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
