[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11일 포천시 포천동 새마을부녀회는 포천동 행정복지센터에서 새마을 부녀회원 10여 명과 함께 헌옷 모으기 운동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이 날 봉사활동은 「사회적 거리두기 4단계」에 따라 방역수칙을 준수하며 실시하였으며,  마을별로 조금씩 모아온 헌 옷 약 0.5톤가량을 수거했다고 했다.

이효순 부녀회장은 “작은 노력으로 환경을 지키고 이웃사랑을 실천할 수 있는 좋은 기회였다. 앞으로도 지역사회에 따뜻한 온기를 나누기 위해 더 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.

배영관 포천동장은 “지역의 리더로서 다양한 이웃사랑 실천에 동참해주시는 부녀회장님들께 감사드린다.”라며 “어려운 이웃들이 소외되지 않고 사랑과 희망으로 더불어 사는 포천동 복지공동체를 만들어 가는데 더욱 힘쓰겠다.”고 전했다.
