[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 23일부터 오는 3월 8일까지 2주간 양주시는 2022년 올해의 책 선정을 위한 시민 설문조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

‘2022년 양주시 올해의 책’은 한 도시 한 책 읽기 사업의 일환으로 시민이 주도하는 도서 선정을 통해 독서 문화 분위기 확산을 위한 범시민 독서진흥사업이라고 했다.

양주시는 설문조사 실시에 앞서 지난 19일 올해의 책 선정단 평가회의를 화상회의 플랫폼(ZOOM)을 활용한 비대면 방식으로 진행했다고 전했다.

선정단은 사전 접수된 추천도서를 어린이그림·글책, 청소년 도서, 성인도서 등 각 부문별 나눠 엄정한 심사를 통해 분야별 각 2권씩 총 8권의 후보도서를 선정했다고 했다.

양주시는 온·오프라인 시민 설문조사을 실시 후 도서선정 심의위원회 회의를 거쳐 아동도서 2권, 청소년도서 1권, 성인도서 1권을 ‘2022년 양주시 올해의 책’으로 최종 선정할 계획이라고 했다.

설문조사는 양주시 도서관 홈페이지와 관내 공공도서관 현장에서 참여할 수 있으며, 기타 자세한 사항은 평생교육진흥원 도서관정책팀으로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 전했다.

평가회의에 참여한 선정단원은“작년에 이어 올해도 선정단으로 활동했는데 좋은 책들이 많아 후보도서를 고르는데 힘들었다”고 하면서도“1년 동안 양주시민들이 함께 읽을 올해의 책을 선정하는 의미 있는 자리에 참여할 수 있어 좋았다”고 말했다.

양주시 관계자는“코로나19 여파로 올해의 책 추천부터 후보도서 선정까지 온라인으로 실시하며 시민들의 의견을 최대한 반영할 수 있게 됐다”며“시민 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 책이 양주 올해의 책으로 선정될 수 있도록 이번 설문조사에 많은 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
