[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시도서관은 코로나19로 위축된 독서환경을 활성화하고, 비대면 서비스 강화를 위해 구독형 전자책 서비스를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

포천시는 도서관 이용자의 편의를 높이고 자료 선택권을 강화하는 데 중점을 두었으며, 기존 소장형 전자책 서비스의 경우에는 동시 이용 제한이 있어 인기도서의 경우 즉시 대출할 수 없고 기다리는 불편이 있었으나 새롭게 운영되는 구독형 전자책 서비스의 경우 대출 제한 없이 즉시 대출이 가능하다는 장점이 있다고 했다.

포천시의 ‘구독형 전자책 서비스’는 포천시립도서관 도서대출 회원이라면 누구나 도서관 홈페이지와 스마트폰 앱을 통해 1인당 매월 10권, 14일간 이용할 수 있으며, 기타 자세한 사항은 포천시립도서관 홈페이지 또는 포천시 도서관정책과로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

포천시 도서관 관계자는 “구독형 전자책과 더불어 기존의 소장형 전자책, 오디오북도 지속적으로 업데이트하여 코로나19의 장기화로 비대면 온라인 서비스가 필요한 시민들에게 적극적인 독서환경을 제공하도록 힘쓰겠다.”라고 말했다.
