[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천장애인근로사업장에서 생산한 KF인증 보건용 마스크 판매량이 15만장을 돌파했다고 밝혔다.

춘천시정부에 따르면 지역 내 장애인직업재활시설인 춘천시장애인근로사업장은 2021년 10월부터 KF인증 보건용 마스크를 생산하고 있으며, 도내에서는 최초로 장애인 근로 사업장에서 KF인증 보건용 마스크를 만들었다고 전했다.

2021년 10월부터 2022년까지 판매한 KF인증 보건용 마스크는 15만5,200장이며, 마스크 이름은 춘천시장애인근로사업장의 기존 브랜드를 활용해 ‘호반이 황사방역마스크’라고 했다. 

현재 장애인 근로자 5명이 투입된 라인에서 마스크가 만들어지고 있으며, 중증장애인생산품으로 지정되어 있는 ‘호반이 황사방역마스크’는 우선구매 대상인 공공기관 외에 일반에서도 구입이 가능하고, 특히 시정부는 오는 14일부터 전국 지자체 및 공공기관 등을 대상으로 마스크 홍보에도 나설 예정이라고 했다.

시정부 관계자는 “이번 KF 보건용 마스크 사업을 시작으로 우리시 장애인들에게 양질의 일자리가 점차 증가하기를 희망한다”라며 “모범적인 장애인 일자리 창출 사례가 될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
