[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도동물위생시험소는 2021년 도내 젖소 사육농가 210호에 대한 소 결핵병* 검진과 착유가축의 위생점검을 완료하여 2농가 17두의 결핵병 양성축을 검출했다고 밝혔다.

젖소 결핵병 검진은 ⌜가축전염병 예방법⌟에 따라 생후 12개월 이상의 젖소를 대상으로 연 1회 이상 의무적으로 검사를 실시하고 있으며, 결핵병 검진과 더불어 착유장 시설위생 및 가축전염병 검진 여부 등을 확인하는 착유가축 위생점검을 실시하여 모든 농가 적합 판정을 받았다고 했다.

한 발짝 더 나아가 ’14년부터 시작한 ⌜젖소 결핵병 음성농장 인증제⌟* 자체 사업을 통해 올해까지 모두 41농가에 대해 인증을 추진하여 소 결핵병 근절에 최선을 다하고 있다고 했다.
