[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 위생과에서 지원하는 의정부시 어린이급식관리지원센터에서는 관내 영․유아 및 학부모를 대상으로 ‘찾아라! 건강 간식’특화사업을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이는 총 3회차로 진행했으며, 어린이의 시선에서 생활 속 식품안전 및 영양 정보를 미션을 통해 직접 탐색해보며 중요성을 인지할 수 있도록 도움을 주기 위해 (7월) 어린이기호식품 품질인증표시 찾기, (8월) 식품알레르기표시 찾기, (9월) 영양성분표시 찾기의 주제로 진행했다고 했다.

이번 사업은 회차별 선착순 50명을 선정하여 총 150명 이상의 관내 어린이집 및 유치원을 다니고 있는 영유아가 부모님과 함께 참여했다고 전했다. 

‘주제와 맞는 영양 정보 표시 사진’과 ‘영유아가 영양 정보를 확인하는 모습’을 찍어 인증하는 방식으로 진행하였으며 모든 차수가 높은 참여율을 보여 하루 만에 선착순이 마감됐다고 했다.

또한, 각각의 미션 주제와 관련된 건강 간식을 지원했으며, 모든 차수의 미션을 완료한 7명의 영유아를 선정하여 비대면 방식으로 상장과 메달을 수여했다고 했다.

사업에 참여한 학부모님께서는 ‘의정부시 어린이급식관리지원센터에서 기획한 좋은 취지의 이벤트 덕분에 그냥 지나치던 영양표시를 확인하고 배워볼 수 있었으며, 아이도 재밌는 놀이처럼 영양표시를 찾아보았다.’라고 말했다.
