[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11월 22일부터 25일까지 4일간 의정부시 과학도서관은 소장자료 장서점검을 위해 휴관한다고 밝혔다.

의정부과학도서관은 자료이용 접근성 향상 및 도서의 효율적 관리를 위해 2년마다 장서점검을 실시하고 있으며, 장서점검은 소장목록과 실제 도서를 대조해 소재 불분명한 자료를 파악하고 파·오손 도서 보수 및 이용가치 상실한 도서를 선별하는 작업이라고 했다. 

장서점검 기간 동안 임시휴관으로 인해 과학도서관 자료실열람·도서 대출·예약·상호대차 서비스와 어린이과학체험실 이용은 중단되지만, 무인기를 통한 도서반납과 예약도서 대출은 이용 가능하하며, 자세한 내용은 의정부과학도서관 홈페이지 또는 전화로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
