[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 22일 양주시 회천2동 지역사회보장협의체는 양주시건강가정·다문화가족지원센터와 함께 ‘텃밭상자를 통한 가족사랑 이야기’ 마을공동체 사업을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 100세트 텃밭상자에 방울토마토, 상추를 재배하면서 가족 간 단합, 친밀감 형성 및 소통강화를 도모하고 다문화가정의 화합을 유도하기 위해 마련했다고 했다. 

이어 양주시 건강가정·다문화가족지원센터와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결해 복지사각지대 발굴 및 지원을 위한 협력 체계를 구축해 나가기로 했다고 전했다.

김선경 공동위원장은 “양 기관이 상호 긴밀하게 협력해 지역 내 다문화가정의 안정적 정착이 이루어지길 바란다”고 말했다.

홍미영 동장은 “텃밭상자를 통해 더 힘든 일상을 보내고 있을 가족들에게 위로와 휴식의 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
