또한 위원회는 덕정역 일원 화분 17개에 임파첸스, 메리골드 등을 식재해 많은 시민이 다니는 도로변 환경을 아름답게 조성했다고 전했다.  

조영준 위원장은 “꽃 심기로 환해진 도로변이 코로나19로 지친 주민들에게 조금이나마 위로가 되길 바란다”며 “이번 캠페인을 통해 경기도 공공기관 유치를 위한 주민자치위원회의 목소리가 더해져 뜻깊고 모두의 염원대로 공공기관이 우리시에 유치되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

이주형 동장은 “아름다운 회천1동을 가꾸어 나가는데 함께 고생해주신 주민자치위원님들께 감사하다”며 “경기도 공공기관이 유치되어 지역경제가 활성화되고 발전할 수 있도록 주민들의 적극적인 관심과 참여 부탁한다”고 말했다.
