 군에 따르면 코로나19로 인한 생계형 범죄를 예방하고 긴급하게 먹거리와 생필품이 필요한 이웃을 위해 노인복지관 1층 작은 도서관내에 먹거리 그냥드림 코너를 지난달 말 개소하고 연중 운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.

경기사회복지공동모금회 무한돌봄성금 지원으로 설치된 코너에는 햇반, 국밥, 참치, 카레 및 짜장, 김, 스팸, 라면, 마스크 등 기본 먹거리 및 생활용품 10여 가지가 마련되어 있다.  

사랑의 식품은 경기도 지원물품 월1회 수급과 유관단체 등과 협조하여 지역 내 기부물품 수급으로 운영된다. 

어려운 군민 누구나 편하게 무료이용 가능하며 이용자별 월 1회 물품 5종을 자율적으로 선택할 수 있다. 이용시간은 평일 오후 1시부터 5시까지다.
