[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 오는 26일부터 관내 중·장년층(만40 ~ 69세)을 대상으로 '위험물안전관리자 양성과정' 교육을 가평군 제2청사에서 진행한다고 22일 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 위험물안전관리법령, 위험물 저장·취급 기준 등 전문지식 학습을 통해 중·장년층의 노동시장 참여 확대와 취업역량 함양을 목표로 진행되며, 사전 모집공고를 통해 교육생 45명을 선발했다.

최근 안전 관리에 대한 중요성이 강조됨에 따라 위험물 제작·저장소 및 주유소 등 위험물안전관리자 선임이 의무적으로 필요한 분야에 교육생들의 취업연계 가능성이 높아질 것으로 기대한다.

가평군 관계자는 “이번 취업 교육을 통하여 중·장년층의 취업능력을 증진시켜 재취업과 생계안정에 큰 도움이 되길 바란다” 면서 "앞으로도 다양한 취업프로그램을 개발ㆍ운영하여, 맞춤형 일자리 서비스를 제공 할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
