[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 겨울축제 기간을 맞이해 금년도 개최예정인 겨울축제장에 대해 집중 안전점검을 실시할 계획이라고 전했다. 

이번 안전점검은 가평군과 경기도 특별안전점검단을 비롯해 경찰, 소방, 전기, 가스, 건축 등 유관기관이 합동으로 안전점검을 실시해 안전하고 쾌적한 축제장 환경을 조성, 방문객들의 여가 안전을 보장하기 위함이다. 

가평군 관계자는 10월 29일 이태원 참사 발생(158명 사망 및 부상자 다수 발생)을 계기로 안전관리가 그 어느 때 보다 강력히 요구되는 가운데 축제 개최 2~3일 전 유관기관 합동점검과 축제기간 중 매주 금요일 주간점검(자체점검)을 실시해 축제 종사자들의 안전의식을 고취시키고, 안전 불감증으로 인한 위해요소 해소 등으로 사고를 미연에 방지하는 데 중점을 두고 시행한다고 밝혔다.

아울러, 방문객들에게도 겨울철 저체온 등 예방을 위해 충분한 방한을 갖추고 방문하여 줄 것과 여수로 및 빙질이 약한 곳 등 위험지역에 대한 출입금지, 비상 시 주최자의 안내에 신속히 따라줄 것을 당부했다.   

2022년 가평군 관내 겨울축제는 모두 3개소로 '2022. 자라섬 씽씽겨울축제'(2022. 12. 30. ~ 2023. 3. 1.), '제5회 청평 설빙축제'(2022. 12. 30. ~ 2023. 2. 26.), '제3회 대성3리 마을 주민자치위원회 겨울축제'(2023. 1. 6. ~ 2. 10.)가 개최될 계획이다.
