[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 21일부터 예방접종 위탁의료기관에서 인플루엔자(계절독감) 국가 예방접종이 시작된다고 밝혔다. 

어린이와 임신부, 65세 이상 어르신을 대상으로 한 이번 접종의 참여를 독려하고 나섰으며, 특히 코로나19 신규 확진자는 연일 줄고 있으나 3년 만에 인플루엔자가 국내에서 유행할 조짐을 나타내고 있다. 

이에 방역당국은 2019년 11월 15일 이후 햇수로는 3년 만인 지난 16일 독감 유행주의보를 발령한 상태로 예방접종을 통한 면역획득의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 

올해 맞는 4가 백신은 인플루엔자 바이러스 A형 2종과 B형 2종을 조합해 그해 예상되는 유행을 예방하며, 21일 부터는 생후 6개월~만9세 미만의 ‘2회 접종’ 대상 어린이, 내달 5일부터는 1회 접종 대상인 생후 6개월~만13세 어린이와 임신부 접종이 시작된다. 

생애 처음으로 인플루엔자 예방접종을 할 경우 1회가 아닌 4주 간격 2회 접종을 해야 하며, 올해 2회 접종 대상은 생후 6개월~만 9세 미만 어린이 중 인플루엔자 예방접종을 처음 받는 경우 또는 2022년 6월 30일까지 백신을 총 1회만 접종한 경우가 해당한다.

10월 12일부터는 65세 이상 어르신 대상 접종이 시작되는데, 이 또한 순차적으로 시행되며, 만 75세 이상은 12일부터, 만 70~74세는 17일부터, 만 65~69세는 20일부터 접종이 가능하다.

다만 달걀 알레르기가 있는 어린이는  ‘세포배양 백신’으로 접종이 이루어지며, 해당 접종은 내달 5일부터 가평군보건소와 설악면 우리들의원에서 접종이 가능하고, 이 경우 의사 소견서, 진단서 또는 접종 의뢰서 등을 들고 지정기관을 방문하면 된다.

보건소 관계자는 “코로나19와 달리 2년 넘게 잠잠했던 독감에 대해 국민 대부분이 면역력이 없어 전문가들 또한 유행성이 높다고 판단했다. 접종 대상에 해당이 되시는 군민은 가까운 의료기관에 방문하시어 인플루엔자 백신을 접종에 많은 참여 부탁드린다.”며 당부했다.
