또한 지역경찰·형사·교통 등 협업하여 사찰주변 연계순찰 강화 및 교통체증 대비하여 혼잡관리를 지원하고, 강·절도, 방화 등 사건 신고 접수 시 전 기능 총력 대응으로 범죄예방에 집중할 계획이라고 전했다.

최종문 강원도경찰청장은 “지역별·사찰별 특성과 치안수요에 맞게 범죄예방활동을 강화하여 안전한「부처님 오신 날」이 되도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
