24일은 GRAF의 시작을 알리는 지신밟기와 안전하고 무탈한 축제 진행과 코로나19로 고통 받는 모든 이들을 위한 부정가시기와 축원굿으로 번영을 기원하고, 25일과 26일에는 전통예술을 새로운 방식으로 창작하여 현대적으로 재해석한 다채로운 무대를 선보이는 작품들을 엄선하여 전통적인 소리와 장단, 놀이를 보다 신명나고 재미있게 즐길 수 있도록 구성했다고 했다. 

특히, 행사 마지막 날인 27일에는 이번 축제의 대미를 장식할 영산홍콘서트 <영산홍에 물들다>가 화려하게 펼쳐지며, 단오제위원회는 지난 2019년 영산홍가 대합창, 2020년 영산홍 댄스챌린지, 2021년 영산홍 댄스&노래 챌린지 등 강릉단오제의 신유가인「영산홍가」의 대중화를 위해 다양한 노력을 기울여왔다고 했다. 

이번 콘서트에는 그동안 새롭게 발굴된 다양한 버전의 영산홍가를 영산홍 챌린지 역대 수상자들과 이태영 밴드, 엘리펀디, DJ B.WAVE 등 지역에서 활동하는 예술가들의 협업을 통해 새로운 축제 콘텐츠로서의 발전 가능성을 가늠해보는 자리가 될 것이라고 했다.
