신청 품목은 유기질비료 3종(혼합유박, 혼합유기질, 유기복합비료)과 부숙유기질비료 2종(가축분퇴비, 퇴비) 중 선택하여 신청할 수 있으며, 유기질비료 종류 및 등급에 따라 1,800원~2,100원을 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

신청자격으로는 농업경영체육성법에 따라 농업경영정보를 등록한 농업경영체로서 등록된 농지를 대상으로 신청이 가능하고, 사업신청은 농지소재지 읍면동에 희망하는 업체 및 제품, 공급시기를 정하여 신청해야 하며, 시군을 달리하는 농지에 대해서는 각각의 농지소재지 관할기관에 신청하면 된다고 했다.

김병학 기술보급과장은“유기질비료를 지원함으로써 농가의 농자재 구입 부담 경감과 환경친화적인 자연순화농업의 정착을 유도하여 고품질 농산물 생산에 기여하고자 한다”고 말했다.
