[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 의정부시지속가능발전협의회가 오는 8월부터 12월까지 2021년 비산업부문 온실가스 진단·컨설팅을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

온실가스 진단·컨설팅은 관내 비산업 부문 사업장(가정, 상가, 학교)의 일상생활 속에서 배출되는 온실가스를 진단하고 온실가스 감축 방안을 컨설팅하여 낭비되는 에너지 차단과 저탄소 녹색생활 실천으로 기후변화 대응에 적극 동참할 수 있는 에너지 절약 사업이라고 했다.

가정이나 상가, 학교를 대상으로 전문 컨설턴트가 컨설팅을 진행하고, 컨설턴트는 에너지 절약을 통해 온실가스가 감축될 수 있도록 전자제품별 에너지 및 자원 사용실태를 파악하고, 시설개선, 관리방법 변경 등을 안내하여 실질적인 절감 방법을 제시해 준다고 했다. 

온실가스 진단·컨설팅은 의정부시 가정 및 사업장 등 시민 누구나 모두 참여가능하며, 올해는 코로나19로 인하여 비대면으로 컨설팅을 진행할 예정이라고 했다. 

신청방법은 우리집탄소가계부로 접속하여 회원가입 후 신청하거나 이메일 또는 팩스로 신청서 및 정보제공 동의서를 제출하여 신청한 후 전화로 원하는 날짜와 시간을 사전협의하면 해당 날짜에 원격컨설팅(비대면)으로 진행하고, 기타 자세한 사항은 의정부시지속가능발전협의회로 문의하면 된다고 했다.

의정부시지속가능발전협의회는 이 컨설팅을 통해 관내 많은 시민들이 이번 사업에 동참해서 자발적으로 온실가스를 줄여 녹색생활 실천에 한 발 더 앞장설 수 있는 계기가 될 것이라 기대한다고 밝혔다.

한편, 의정부시지속가능발전협의회는 1992년 유엔환경개발회의(UNCED)의 권고를 기초로 하여 의정부시민의 삶의 질 향상과 쾌적한 자연 및 도시환경 조성, 지속 가능한 발전, 나아가 지구 환경 보전을 위하여 활동하는 민관 협의체라고 전했다.
