적십자봉사회원들은 직접 만든 삼계탕을 개별 포장해 코로나19로 외부활동이 어려운 어르신들의 방문하여 어르신들의 안부 등을 확인했다고 했다.

임용찬 회장은 “혼자 식사를 챙겨 드시지 못하시는 어려운 이웃들이 사랑의 삼계탕을 맛있게 드시고 코로나19와 무더위를 이겨내길 바란다”고 말했다.

이주형 회천1동장은 “코로나19로 많은 사람이 힘든 상황이지만 삼계탕 봉사로 지역 내 어려운 이웃들이 조금이나마 행복하고 건강한 여름철을 보내는 데 큰 도움이 될 것이며 봉사해주신 회천1동 적십자봉사회에 감사하다”고 전했다.
