[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 6월 18일 가평귀촌귀농학교에서는 지난기수 수료생을 대상으로 쌈채소 따기 체험 및 바베큐 파티를 진행했다고 밝혔다. 30여명의 수료생들이 참석하여 친목과 화합을 하는 의미있는 시간이었다고 전했다.

가평귀촌귀농학교 실습농장에서 무농약으로 키운 각종 쌈채소는 예비귀촌인(수료생)들에게 수확하는 기쁨을 주고 이웃간에 농산물을 나누고 배려하는 마음을 느끼게 하여 가평으로 귀촌귀농을 추진하는 계기가 된다고 했다.

쌈채소 체험후 인근 펜션으로 이동하여 바비큐 파티를 즐기며 자연스럽게 귀촌귀농정보를 공유하고 소통하는 훈훈한 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

이런 일련의 시간들은 귀촌과정에서 제 2의 고향으로 가평을 선택하게하고 함께 공부했던 수료생들이 가평에서 살 수 있는 이웃사촌으로 이어지는 의미 있는 시간이 된다고 했다.

가평은 맑은 물과 산세가 수려하여 서울에서 한시간 거리로 도시인이 꿈꾸는 제2의 고향으로 가장 각광받는 곳이라고 전했다.
