[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군이 지역발전의 원동력인 자주재원 확충을 위해 세외수입체납자에 대한 적극적 법적대응과 엄중한 징수활동을 벌인다고 13일 밝혔다.

이는 올해 300만 원 이상 고액상습 체납자가 140여명에 달하며, 체납액은 690여건에 20억5000여만 원에 따른 것이다.

고의적이고 만성화된 고액상습 체납자에 대한 강력한 체납처분으로는 가택수색, 부동산 공매, 분납액 상향 조정, 정리보류 검토 등을 실시해 체납처분을 회피하는 비양심 체납자 은닉재산을 끝까지 추적 조사해 징수할 방침이다.

또 체납유형별 정확한 실태분석 후 체납자 현장중심의 사실조사를 통한 체납자별 맞춤형 징수기법을 적용하고 체납자의 납부의지, 거주형태, 생활실태, 보유재산, 압류상태 등에 대한 면밀한 분석을 통한 적극적인 징수활동을 벌여 나가기로 했다.

앞서 가군은 금년도 세외수입 이월체납액 정리목표액을 전년대비 15% 상향한 45%인 32억9000여만 원 정하고 징수에 행정력을 집중하고 있다.

가평군은 압류부동산에 대해서는 적극적인 공매처분을 추진하고 재산없이 호화생활을 영위하는 체납자에 대해서는 신 징수기법 개발 및 적용으로 지방세수의 안정적 달성을 이뤄 나가기로 했다.

가평군 관계자는 “납부능력이 있음에도 불구하고 납세의무를 회피하는 체납자에 대해서는 거주지역을 불문하고 연중 지속적으로 대응해 나가겠다”며 “악의적으로 세금을 포탈하거나 고의적으로 체납액 징수를 방해하는 체납자는 검찰고발 조치 등 단호한 행정처분을 실시할 것”이라고 말했다.
