[김현우 기자 = 가평] 지난 11일 가평군은 청년의 경제적 부담을 완화하고 취업지원을 돕기 위해 금년도 구직목적 면접 응시자들에게 정장을 빌려주는 ‘청년 면접정장 대여비 지원’사업을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

관내에 주소를 둔 2023년 1월 1일 기준 만 15세~39세 이하 미취업 청년 중, 구직면접 참여자를 대상으로 면접에 필요한 정장비용을 1인당 1회 최대 10만원까지 지원한다.

개인별 원하는 업체에서 정장(상․하의), 셔츠, 블라우스, 넥타이, 구두 등 맞춤형 품목을 대여 선결제 후, 비용을 청구하면 된다. 

단, 일반교육․모의면접․대학교(원) 면접 등의 참여자 및 청구서류제출 부적격자는 제외된다.

가평군은 청년 면접정장 대여비 지원홍보를 위해 군 홈페이지 공고 및 관내 고등학교에 안내 공문을 발송하고 읍면 주민자치회의 등 각종 회의시 적극 안내하기로 했다.

이와 함께 군은 12일 군청 소회의실에서 최병길 부군수 주재로 청년사업 관련 부서장 등이 참석한 가운데 청년정책 발굴을 위한 간담회도 열어 군정에 반영함으로써 가평의 미래성장을 이끌어 나간다는 계획이다.

가평군은 아울러 청년들이 지역의 일원이 되어 정착할 수 있도록 적합한 일자리를 찾아 청년-기업을 연계해주고 급여를 지원하는 지역주도형 청년일자리 사업도 추진한다.

미취업 청년 채용시 기업 인건비(급여)의 90%인 1인 월 최대 180만원을 2년간 지원하고 2년 지원 종료 후, 정규직으로 계속 근무시 1년간 청년에게 분기별 250만원씩 1000만원의 인센티브를 지급키로 했다.

지난해에도 2030 청년일자리 사업에 53명을 고용하는 등 청년의 안정적이고 장기적인 직업생활을 유도하고 중소기업 위기극복 등 공공사회서비스 확충 및 사회적 경제 활성화를 이뤄 나가고 있다.

가군 관계자는 “청년 취업활동 지원은 구직 희망자의 경제적 부담을 덜어주는 것은 물론 지역인구 유출을 방지하는 효과도 거둘 수 있는 만큼 앞으로도 다양한 청년 일자리창출 및 지원정책을 추진하는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
