[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 25일 오전 강원도 사회갈등조정위원회는 행정부지사 집무실에서 최복수 행정부지사, 이창우 총무행정관 등이 참석한 가운데 위원 1명을 신규 위촉했다고 밝혔다.

위촉 위원은 변호사로 활동 중인 한혜정 위원(신규)이며, 임기는 전임위원의 잔여임기를 승계 받아 2022년 2월 25일부터 2023년 6월 16일까지라고 했다.   

한혜정 변호사는 강원대에서 법학을 전공하고, 현재는 법무법인 다헌의 소속 변호사로, 강원도 행정심판위원회 등에서 위원으로 활동하고 있다고 했다. 

강원도 관계자는 “법무 분야의 전문가인 한혜정 변호사 위촉을 통해 위원회가 도민들의 복잡․다양한 고충민원 해소 및 도민 권익증진이라는 역할을 충실히 수행해 나갈 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다. 

강원도 사회갈등조정위원회는 2012년 9월 출범한 옴부즈만 기구로, 총 9명의 위원으로 구성·운영되고 있고, 도내 고충민원과 갈등을 도민의 입장에서 공정하고 객관적으로 해결하며, 찾아가는 이동신문고 운영을 통해 사람‧현장 중심의 고충해결을 강화하는 등 도민 권익 증진을 위한 지속적인 노력을 기울이고 있다고 전했다.
