[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 2일까지 강릉시청소년문화의집은 청소년들이 비대면으로 자신만의 활동 스토리를 만드는「국제청소년성취포상제」참여 청소년을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

국제청소년성취포상제란(이하 포상제) 1956년 영국 에딘버러 공작에 의해 설립되었으며 만 14~24세의 청소년들이 봉사활동, 자기계발 등을 통하여 청소년 스스로의 잠재력을 발굴하고 삶의 기술을 익히는 국제적 자기성장 프로그램이라고 했다. 

포상제는 청소년들이 자신에게 필요한 활동이 무엇인지 스스로 점검하고 활동에 대한 목표를 수립한 뒤 지속적인 활동을 통해 스스로 성장할 수 있어, 청소년들의 올바른 성장에 도움이 될 것이라고 했다.

강릉시청소년문화의집은 모집 후 참가자 대상으로 오리엔테이션을 거친 뒤 각자의 활동목표를 설정하여 본격적인 활동을 진행할 예정이라고 전했다.

신청은 문화의집 홈페이지에 접속하여 공지사항‘2022년 국제청소년성취포상제 참가자 모집’의 지원서양식을 다운로드 후 작성하여 이메일 접수하면 된다고 했다.
