[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시역사박물관은 임인(壬寅)년 검은 호랑이해를 맞이해 오는 1월 25일부터 3월 27일까지 특별전시 「虎」를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

역사박물관에서 수집한 유물 중 호랑이의 상징성을 재조명할 수 있는 청동 호랑이 무늬 거울, 산신도, 석호(石虎), 호랑이를 타고 있는 인형, 민화 등 유물 30여 점을 기획전시 공간에 전시한다고 했다.

원주의 대표적 설화(說話) 중 하나인 ‘황무진과 호랑이’를 그림으로 그려 원주역사 그림 공모전에서 수상한 그림 5점과 시에서 제작한 ‘황효자와 호랑이’ 만화도 함께 전시한다고 했다.

또한, 뱅골호랑이와 사진을 찍을 수 있는 AR 호랑이 체험, 민화 속 호랑이 색칠하기, 호랑이 달력 만들기 등 다양한 프로그램도 체험할 수 있다고 전했다.

전시를 기획한 학예연구사에게 직접 해설을 들을 수 있는 ‘큐레이터와의 대화’, ‘호랑이 달력 만들기’ 프로그램은 역사박물관 홈페이지에서 선착순으로 모집한다고 했다.
