[김준호 기자 = 평창군] 평창백일홍축제위원회와 평창읍은 지난 12일 폐막한 평창백일홍축제장 꽃밭 일대를 관광객들 볼거리 제공과 지역경제 활성화 차원에서 노산문화제가 마무리되는 10월 8일까지 백일홍 꽃밭을 무료 개방하기로 결정했다고 밝혔다. 

현재 평창백일홍축제장 일원은 만개한 백일홍과 붉은메밀, 황화코스모스가 높푸른 가을하늘과 함께 가을의 정취를 더해가고 있어 축제장을 찾는 방문객들에게 큰 만족을 선사할 것으로 기대된다.

이진택 평창백일홍축제위원장은 “2022평창백일홍축제가 10만여 명이 방문하며 성황리에 막을 내렸다.”며, “축제가 끝난 이후에도 평창을 찾은 방문객들이 백일홍과 함께 행복한 가을추억을 만들어 가시길 바란다.”고 말했다.
