[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 한글과컴퓨터그룹(이하 한컴그룹)이 재단법인 라파엘나눔(이하 (재)라파엘나눔)에서 운영하는 라파엘나눔 홈리스 클리닉 등에 방호복 5천벌, 방역마스크 5만장, 니트릴 장갑 4만장 등 방역용품을 지원한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 방역용품은 코로나19 방역의 사각지대에 놓여있는 노숙인들의 의료를 지원하는 라파엘나눔 홈리스 클리닉, 몽골·필리핀·네팔 등의 아시아 의료봉사단 지원에 쓰일 예정이라고 했다.

재단법인 라파엘나눔은 외국인 이주노동자 무료 진료소인 사회복지법인 라파엘클리닉과 아시아 저개발국가의 의료소외계층을 지원하는 사단법인 라파엘인터내셔널을 지원하기 위해 2015년에 설립됐다고 했다.

김전 라파엘나눔 이사장은 “그동안 의료 나눔을 통해 사회적 취약계층과 더불어 살기를 지향해 온 라파엘이 노숙자분들에게 도움을 드리지 못해 무척 안타까웠는데, 한컴그룹의 적극적인 도움에 힘입어 라파엘나눔 홈리스 클리닉을 시작하게 되고 노숙인분들에게도 의료지원이 가능해져 매우 감사하게 생각한다”고 말했다.

변성준 한컴그룹 부회장은 “코로나로 인해 의료사각지대에 놓인 취약계층을 대상으로 적극적인 의료지원과 나눔활동을 펼치고 계시는 라파엘나눔에 존경의 뜻을 전하며, 한컴그룹이 앞으로도 미력이나마 힘을 보탤수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 이어나갈 것”이라고 말했다.

한편, 한컴그룹은 지난 2015년부터 라파엘나눔과 인연을 맺고, 임직원 자원봉사활동을 비롯해 방역용품 기증, 후원금 전달 등을 비롯한 지속적인 나눔 활동을 이어오고 있다고 전했다.
