[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 11일 오후 3시 원주시 농업인단체연합회는 원주시농업기술센터 친환경농업종합센터 생명농업관에서 김철수 초대 회장 취임식을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

취임식 종료 후 올 안해 풍요로운 결실과 농업인의 화합을 기원하는 풍년 농사 기원제도 함께 진행할 예정이라고 전했다.

원주시 농업인단체연합회는 2011년 구성된 농업인단체장협의회를 농업인단체연합회로 확대하고 단체장 모임이 아닌 단체 회원들을 대표하는 기구로 확대 개편해 2022년 2월 8일 창립총회를 거쳐 임원진을 구성했다고 했다.

김철수 회장은 “앞으로 10개의 농업인 단체가 하나의 연합회로 힘을 모아 농업소득증대를 위한 발전과 방안을 마련하고 농업인의 권익증진과 농업·농촌 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
