[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 17일부터 오는 1월 28일까지 강원도기능경기위원회는 2022년 강원도기능경기대회 참가신청을 우수 숙련 기술인 포털인 마이스터넷을 통하여 접수한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 대회는 4월 4일부터 8일까지(5일간) 원주시 등 강원도 일원에서 개최되며, 코로나19 확산이 지속됨에 따라 선수간 이격거리 유지 등 방역안전수칙을 철저히 이행할 예정이라고 했다.

참가자격은 연령에 상관없이 원서접수 마감일 기준으로 도내 6개월 이상 거주자이거나 강원도 소재기업 및 단체에 3개월 이상 근로 중인 경우, 특성화고교 등 도내학교 학생인 경우이면 접수가 가능하다고 했다.

단, 국제기능올림픽대회 입상자 또는 전국기능경기대회 입상자 중 국가대표 선발 기회가 주어졌거나 차기년도 국제대회 참가가능 연령인 만 22세를 초과하는 자는 참가할 수 없다고 전했다.

강원도 대회 입상자는 8월 29일부터 경상남도에서 개최되는 전국대회에 강원도 대표선수로 출전하게 되고, 입상자 중 금‧은‧동 메달 수상자는 국가기술자격 기능사 시험이 면제된다고 했다. 

한편 강원도는 지난해 전국대회에서 금 4개, 은 5개, 동 7개를 수상했으며, 기타 자세한 사항은 강원도기능경기위원회(한국산업인력공단 강원지사)으로 문의하면 자세한 안내를 받을 수 있다고 전했다.
