[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11월 26일까지 양주시는 경기패션창작스튜디오에서 7기 입주디자이너를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

경기패션창작스튜디오는 경기도와 양주시 내 우수한 섬유 소재와의 협업을 통해 국내외 시장진출 확대와 글로벌 브랜드 육성을 목표로 하는 섬유·패션산업 전문 인큐베이팅 기관이라고 했다.

모집대상은 만 18세부터 39세 이하의 창업 5년 이내 패션디자이너 중 의류, 액세서리 디자이너이며, 스튜디오는 1차 서류심사, 2차 면접심사를 통해 총 5명의 입주디자이너를 최종 선정하고, 지원방법과 지원내용 등 기타 자세한 사항은 한국패션디자이너연합회로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 전했다.

7기 입주디자이너에게는 오는 2022년부터 최대 36개월까지 입주해 디자인 작업을 할 수 있는 개별창작공간을 비롯한 특수봉제실, 리소스실, 포토스튜디오, 바이어 상담룸 등 공동시설을 제공하고 시제품 제작, 마케팅, 교육, 컨설팅 등을 무상으로 지원한다고 했다.

한편 스타디자이너 육성 지원사업을 통해 스타디자이너로 선정된 4기 비건타이거 양윤아 디자이너는 경기패션창작스튜디어에 입주한 뒤 체계적인 인큐베이팅 과정을 통해 2021 K-패션오디션 대통령상 수상, 2022 S/S 서울컬렉션 입성 등 국내외 유수의 패션 전시회에서 눈에 띄는 성과를 거두며 경기패션창작스튜디오의 인재양성 역량을 대외적으로 입증했다고 밝혔다.
