[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 26일 가평군 농업인단체협의회는 농업기술센터에서 ‘경기도 시민단체 먹거리 보장사업’의 일환으로 '가평드림 제철 농산물 꾸러미' 나눔 행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 농업인단체협의회원들은 1회차 활동으로 관내 취약계층 70여 세대에 관내에서 생산한 찰옥수수, 오이, 양배추, 잣닭갈비 등 4만원 상당 농산물 꾸러미를 전달했다고 했다.

경기도 농수산진흥원의 후원으로 추진되는 시민단체 먹거리 보장 사업은 지역의 신선한 농산물을 활용하여 먹거리 소외계층에게 나눔 행사를 개최하여 이웃사랑을 실천하는 사업이라고 했다.

가평군농업인단체협의회 회장 김세경은 “코로나 19로 지친 일상에 지역 농업인들이 생산한 신선 농산물을 활용하여 소외된 이웃을 돌아보고 나눔을 실천 할 수 있어 기쁘며, 지속적으로 이웃 사랑을 실천하는 농업인단체협의회가 되도록 노력할 것이다”라고 말했다.

이 나눔 행사는 총 140세대에 지원할 계획으로 향후 2회차 활동으로 추석 명절 즈음에 유정란, 과채류 등으로 구성된 농산물 꾸러미를 70세대에 추가 지원 할 계획이라고 한다고 전했다.
