[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 9일 경기도 공공건설지원센터는 올해 4월말 기준 도내 공공건설 사업계획에 대한 사전검토를 41건 실시했다고 밝혔다.

공공건설 사업계획 사전검토란 도내 공공기관들이 시행하는 공공건설사업의 계획을 전문가들이 기획단계부터 검토하여 합리적인 예산계획과 양질의 설계품질을 담보하도록 하기 위한 제도라고 했다. 

공사비 1억원 이상 사업을 대상으로 하며 시·군의 경우는 경기도가 공사비의 50%이상을 보조하는 사업이 해당된다고 전했다.

2019년「경기도 공공건설서비스 지원 조례」제정에 따라 개소한 공공건설지원센터는 이듬해부터 GH가 위탁받아 운영하고 있으며 사업초기 공공기관들의 사전검토에 대한 인식부족과 코로나-19로 인한 사업지연 등의 영향으로 2020년 1년간 사전검토 건수가 38건 수준이었다고 했다.

하지만 그간의 홍보 확대와 지연사업 재개 등의 효과로 올해는 4월까지 47건을 신청받아 41건에 대한 검토를 완료했고, 센터는 앞으로도 ‘찾아가는 공공기관 홍보’ 등을 통해 더 많은 공공기관들이 참여하도록 독려할 계획이라고 했다.

차정필 센터장은 “센터는 사전검토 이외에도 공공건설에 대한 자문업무도 수행하므로 공공기관들의 많은 관심과 활용을 바란다”고 당부했다.

각 기관이 추진하는 공공건설사업이 사전검토 대상에 해당하는지 여부 등의 문의사항은 센터로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
