[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원경찰청 고속도로순찰대 7지구대에서는 ‘고속도로 교통이 안전한 강원만들기’를 위해, 고속도로 이용자들을 대상으로 고속도로 안전을 위해 꼭 필요하다고 생각하는 교통안전시설을 제안받는다고 밝혔다.  

이번 시설제안 공모는 강원도경찰청에서 강원도민을 대상으로 4월 4일부터 오는 5월 6일까지 1개월간 교통안전시설 개선 아이디어를 공모하는 ‘도민공감! 안심로드 챌린지’의 일환으로, 강원도 고속도로 이용자를 대상으로 교통안전시설 제안공모를 통해 모두가 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 강원도 고속도로를 만들기 위함으로, 장거리 운전자가 꼭 들러서 쉬어 가고 싶은 고속도로 휴게소와 졸음쉼터 만들기 등 강원도 여건에 맞은 안심로드를 만들기 위해 노력할 것을 약속했다고 전했다. 

강원경찰청 고속도로순찰대 관계자는 앞으로도 안전한 도로환경 조성으로 ‘교통이 안전한 강원도 만들기’ 위해 노력하겠으며, 모두가 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 고속도로 만들기를 위해 좋은 아이디어가 있다면 관심을 갖고 언제든지 제안해 주실 것을 당부했다.
