[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 16일 가평군시설관리공단 행복나눔봉사단은 지역 복지대상(기초생활수급 독거노인) 가구를 방문하여 집 앞 생활공간 단열 공사 등 집수리 봉사활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 집수리 봉사활동은 가평읍사무소와 가평군자원봉사센터의 협조를 받아 대상자 선정 및 집수리 재료비를 지원받아 진행했다고 전했다.

집수리 봉사 지원을 받은 김모 어르신은 “집 앞을 막아주는 벽 비닐이 다 벗겨져 겨울을 나기가 걱정이었는데, 이렇게 찾아와 도와주어서 정말 고맙다”며 깊은 감사를 전했다.

유영상 이사장(봉사단 회장)은 “소외된 사회적 약자를 위한 공헌활동을 지속적으로 추진하여 도움이 될 수 있도록 노력할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
