[김일웅 기자= 경기북부/강원] 가평중.고등학교 총 동문회장을 맡고 있는 박범서氏가 7월5일 오후 3시 구 가평역사가 있던 1939음악역 메인 홀에서 가평군수 출마를 공식 선언 했다.

 

이날 가평군내 박범석氏를 지지하는 100여명이 참석한 가운데 박범서氏는 '변화의 새바람'이라는 표어아래 가평을 변화시키겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.

 

박후보는 자신의 표어인  '변화의 새바람'을 국민의힘 이준석이 빵선 당대표에 당선되 정치사의 길이남을 새로운 역사를 쓴 것처럼 가평도 변화의 새바람이 불어야 한다고 어필했다.

 

또, 가평군의 젊은 사람들은 정당을 구분하지 않으며 그저 살기좋은 가평에서 안정적인 일자리와 월 급여 250만원 정도면 굳이 서울에서 300만원을 받으며  살고싶지 않다는 말을했다고 했다. 이처럼 시대적 변화에 맞춰 가평의 변화의 새바람을 박후보 자신과 함께 해줄것을 요구했다.

 

이어 박후보는 자신이 KBS근무 이력을 내세우며 가평군의 개혁이 필요하다고 말했다. 또, 가평에 문화 예술의 저력을 일깨우고 활용해야 품격있는 가평이 된다고 덧붙였다.

 

개혁의 가장 우선 순위는 '좌파니. 우파니' 세력을 내세워 분열하는 가평을 통합하는것이 중요하다고 꼬집었다. 모든 가평 군민들이 이심전심으로 가슴속에 불만을 해결하려는 생각들을 모아 제도화 시키는것이 그것이 개혁이라고 말했다.

 

그리고 박후보는 "필요하다면 전국어디라도 달려가 가평의 이익을 대변하고 쟁취하는데 앞장서 나아가겠다고 말했다.

이후, 출마선언이 끝나고 기자들과의 질의 응답에서 본지기자가 "만약 군수에 당선이 된다면 정당 가입을 할 생각이 있느냐?"의 질문에  박후보는" 분열이 아닌 통합이 필하다. 또 변화가 필요하고  실용적인 정치가 필요하다. 진보냐 보수냐의 문제가 아니다. 자신은 오로지 가평만을 위해 일하겠다. 하지만, 가평의 이익이 필요할때는 그 길을 따라가겠다" 고 말했다. 

 

이어 본지는 "만약의 정당을 가입하신다면 어느정당을 택하실 것인가?"의 질문에 아직 모른다 가평을 위한 길이 있을때 정할것이라고 말했다.

 

정당을 떠나 가평군민만을 위해 일하겠다는 박후보의 의지가 가평군민의 마음을 사로 잡을 수 있을지... 아니면, 가평군의 기득권 정당들의 벽에 부딪혀 그저 무지개 빛 꿈으로 끝날지 귀추가 주목된다.

 

이날 박후보가 내세운 가평군 정책은 '수도권 제1의 휴양도시 가평'과 '생태기업도시 가평'으로 요약했다.
