[브레이크뉴스 양주 = 김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시(시장 강수현)는 양주시립회암사지박물관에서 오는 29일까지 매주 주말 오후 회암사지를 찾는 관람객들에게 볼거리를 제공하기 위해 ‘대가람의 공연예술’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
양주시립회암사지박물관은 지난 2년간 경기도민 누구나 누릴 수 있는 ‘경기도 문화의 날’ 문화예술지원프로그램의 일환으로 ‘대가람의 공연예술’ 프로그램을 진행해 큰 호응을 받아왔다.
당시 코로나19로 사회적 거리두기가 일상인 상황에서 야외에서 개최한 ‘대가람의 공연예술’은 자연경관 및 문화유산 관람과 더불어 즐거운 여가를 보낼 수 있는 프로그램이었다.
올해 공연은 총 4회로 10월 매주 주말 오후 2시 회암사지 야외공간에서 진행된다.
10월 7일(토)에는 양주시의 대표 오케스트라인 ‘양주윈드오케스트라’의 클래식 공연을 준비했으며, 14일(토)에는 ‘라온브라스앙상블’의 금관 5중주 공연이 진행될 예정이다.
3주 차인 21일(토)에는 신명 나는 해학의 전통연희를 선사하는 ‘동락연희단’의 한마당이 펼쳐지며, 마지막 주인 29일(일)에는 ‘채희민재즈밴드’가 아름다운 재즈 선율로 영화 속 장면을 관람객에게 선보일 예정이다.
금년도 ‘대가람의 공연예술’ 행사는 양주시의 자체 기획인 ‘찾아가는 문화 활동’ 및 경기아트센터의 기획사업을 통해 섭외된 공연단체를 중심으로 진행하며 관람료는 무료이다.
시 관계자는 “양주 회암사지를 찾은 관람객들이 청명한 가을 하늘과 고즈넉한 문화유산을 배경으로 공연을 무료로 관람함으로써 양주시에서 즐거운 가을을 보내길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
