[김완영기자 = 양주] 지난 28일 강수현 양주시장은 농업기술센터 대회의실에서 농가 및 단체 70명을 대상으로 ‘2023년 농촌지도시범사업 사전교육’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 시범사업 추진에 따른 유의사항과 보조금 관리제도, 보조금 집행방법, 관계법령, 청렴이행서약서 작성 등 시범사업 진행과정 전반에 걸친 유의사항에 대해 사업담당자들이 사업 취지와 내용을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 분야별로 교육하는 시간을 가졌다.

농촌지도시범사업은 새로 개발한 농업기술을 농업 현장에 신속하게 보급하며 수요자 중심의 기술보급으로 농업경쟁력 향상과 농가소득 증대하는 사업이다.

시는 지난해 12월 26일부터 1월 31일까지 식량작물, 원예작물, 도시농업, 경영특작 등 7개 분야 35종 총 55개소 사업별 홍보를 실시하고 농가와 단체의 접수를 받았다. 이후 현지실태조사를 거쳐 산학협동심의분과위원회 심의를 통해 추진여건이 우수하고 파급효과가 기대되는 사업대상자를 선정했다.

강수현 시장은 “시범사업을 통해 매년 개발된 고품질 안전생산 기술, 비용절감, 친환경, 도시농업 등 농업기술의 신속한 확산과 보급으로 양주농업의 경쟁력 향상과 농가 기술수준 및 소득 증대에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
