[브레이크뉴스 양주 = 김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시(시장 강수현)는 GTX-C 노선 양주역정차 실현을 위해 시정의 핵심목표로 정하고 추진하고 있는 가운데 이에 발 맞추어 국민의 힘 안기영 양주당협위원장과 당원들은 25일 양주역 앞에서 "GTX-C 양주역 정차 양주시민이 해 냅시다"라는 홍포 팜프렛을 전달하면서 서명작업을 당협차원에서 실시했다.

이날은 정당을 떠나 혁신양주시민연대(상임대표 오흥진)에서도 같이 동참하면서 시민운동의 일환으로 전개될 전망이다.

혁신양주시민연대 오흥진 상임대표는 "양주발전을 위한 일이라면 정당의 유불리를 떠나 시민연대도 함께 동참할 것이라며, 시민들과 지역 정당의 참여를 호소했다. 앞으로는 혁신양주시민연대 차원에서도 서명운동에 돌입할 것이다"라는 포부도 함께 밝혔다.

한편 내년 총선과 추석을 앞두고 지역 표심을 잡기위해 각 지역 정당은 안간힘을 쓰고 있다
