[김완영 기자 = 경기 양주] (사)한국예술문화단체 총연합회 제8대 양주시 회장 서순오 취임식이 오는 10월 12일 (목) 오후 1시 경기섬유종합지원센터 컨벤션홀에서 개최된다.
한국예총 양주지회는 2006년 2월 21일 설립된 이후 양주예술제개최, 양주김삿갓전국문학대회, 양주배리어프리영화제 등의 사업을 주도적으로 해 왔으며, 제6~7대 김영환 회장이 이끌었으나 갑자기 사망함에 따라 보궐로 제8대 서순오 회장이 당선됐다.
제1대 노시청 회장, 제2대 신동희 회장, 제3~4대 김용수 회장으로 이어왔다.
또한, 양주지회는 음악협회, 미술협회, 국악문인협회, 연예인협회, 연극협회, 영화인협회, 사진작가협회등 8개 협회로 운영되고 있다.
회장은 미술협회 서순오를 비롯해서 수석부회장은 국악협회 최정숙, 부회장으로는 문인협회 손치하, 사진협회 강재성, 음악협회 김진수, 연예인협회 김채희, 영화인협회 홍명옥, 연극협회 노연은, 국악인협회 김병숙이며, 이사로는 연예인협회 김채희, 문인협회 김미외, 연극협회 전덕환, 영화인협회 이대웅, 미술협회 조보환이다. 감사로는 전덕환과 이대웅 이사가 겸해서 맡고 있다.
