[김완영 기자 = 양주] 2023년 5월 11일 목요일, 양주시장애인종합복지관(관장 김정희)과 대한보건복지진흥협회(협회장 조영랑)가 장애인의 건강증진지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결하였다. 이날 협약식에는 김정희 양주시장애인종합복지관장과 조영랑 대한보건복지진흥협회장 외 4명의 회원이 참석하였다.
협약에 따라 두 기관은 지역 내 장애인의 건강한 삶 유지를 위한 사회기여 활동 지원, 장애인복지 서비스의 효과적 수행을 위한 지원, 지역사회 협력사업 및 연계시스템 구축, 기타 상기 협력 분야의 목적을 달성하기 위한 필요사항 지원 등에 협력하기로 하였다.
대한보건복지진흥협회 조영랑 협회장은 “양주시 장애인들의 건강한 삶 유지를 위해 기여할 수 있게 되어 기쁘다. 협약의 가치와 의미를 살려 적절한 지원이 이뤄지도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔으며, 김정희 관장은 ”본 협약을 통해 장애인의 복지증진을 위한 큰 역할을 해주기를 기대한다. 나눔과 봉사 등 지역 내 장애인을 위해 지속적으로 힘써주시기를 부탁드린다“고 전하였다.
