<김일웅기자=가평> 지난 22~24일 3일간 신천지봉사단이 경기도자원봉사센터가 주최하는‘2023년 도민이 전하는 자원봉사 2차 지원사업’에 선정되 ‘맛깔나는 김장김치 나눔봉사’진행했다

경기도자원봉사센터는 도민의 자원봉사 참여문화 확산을 위해 봉사단체 지원사업을 진행하고 있다. ‘2023년 도민이 전하는 자원봉사 2차 지원사업’은 올해 두 번째 지원사업이다. 

이번 두 번째 지원사업에 선정된 신천지봉사단은 600만원을 지원받고 22일부터 장을 보며 약 3일간 김장김치 나눔봉사를 진행했다. 이번 봉사에나선 인원은 약 50명으로 10Kg 박스 120개 분량으로 1200Kg가량의 김치를 담궜다.

이렇게 만들어진 김장김치는 가평군 6개읍면 행정복지센터를 통해 추천받은 저소득층 100가구와 장애인 자립지원센터 20가구를 포함 120가구에 전달됐다.

이날 참석한 봉사원들은 “경기도자원봉사센터의 지원을 통해 올해 처음으로 시도한‘맛깔나는 김장김치 나눔행사’를 할 수 있어서 기쁜 날이었다고 말했다.

또, 김장 김치를 받은 장애인 자립생활지원센터 사무국장은 "장애인들은 김장 담궈 먹기가 쉽지 않은데 이렇게 정성이 가득한 겨울 양식을 나눠주셔서 감사하다.  장애인들에게 잘 전달하여 행복하고 따뜻한 식탁이 될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

신천지봉사단은, 이번 나눔 행사를 위해 아낌없이 응원해주신 ‘상면자치주민자치회 행복나눔곳간, 가평군 장애인 자립생활지원센터, 가평신협청평지점, 사)환경보호국민운동본부, 써니헤어, 씨엘헤어, 파인드커피, 모던필(가평점) 등 지역업체들에게 감사하다는 마음을 전했다.

<Reporter Kim Il-woong = Gapyeong> For three days from the 22nd to the 24th, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group was selected for the ‘2023 2nd Volunteer Support Project by Citizens’ hosted by the Gyeonggi Volunteer Center and conducted a ‘delicious kimchi sharing service’.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Volunteer Center is carrying out a project to support volunteer organizations to spread the culture of volunteer participation among residents. The ‘2023 2nd volunteer support project delivered by residents’ is the second support project this year.

The Shincheonji Volunteer Group, which was selected for this second support project, received 6 million won in support and went grocery shopping starting on the 22nd and carried out kimchi sharing service for about 3 days. About 50 people volunteered this time and made about 1,200 kg of kimchi in 120 10 kg boxes.

The kimchi made in this way was delivered to 120 households, including 100 low-income households recommended through administrative welfare centers in 6 towns and villages in Gapyeong-gun and 20 households at the Self-Reliance Support Center for the Disabled.

Volunteers who attended that day said, “It was a happy day to be able to hold the ‘Delicious Kimchi Sharing Event’ for the first time this year with the support of the Gyeonggi Volunteer Center.”

In addition, the executive director of the Independent Living Support Center for the Disabled, who received the kimchi, said, “It is not easy for the disabled to make and eat kimchi, so I am grateful for sharing winter food with such sincerity. I will deliver it to the disabled so that they can have a happy and warm table.” He said.
